Tried to make the poster look like an old Sega Genesis box art or some sci-fi movie from the late 80’s. 

Posters for DIVE @ Homeclub. Now on a hiatus… hopefully back this year?

Posters done for Tyler Made for his shows back in the US over the year end holidays of 2011. The idea was to make each poster look like vintage American cereal box designs from the 1940s to the 1950s. I took the main design cues from the old Trix Cereal boxes. I had the most fun recreating and trying to make all the typography look authentic.

Each poster’s colour combos were taken from its city’s sports teams, except for the main poster (original Trix colours were used). Take for example the gig in Essex, NY - the blue and orange of the Knicks. The one at the Eastern Standard Kitchen and Drinks, Boston? Celtics. Try and guess the others.

Check out the sculpture as well as other local artists’ pieces at the Singapore Show: Future Proof exhibition held at Singapore Arts Museum. 8Q, 222 Queen Street, SAM Front Lawn and also at The Substation.

So apparently it’s on the 3rd level outdoors, next to Food Republic. Also, Lily looks waaaaaay better with Naima next to it. Thanks Ilyana for the pics.
